Although she didn't begin taking classes until age seven, Anna Godsey has always loved to dance. Before ESA, Anna danced with another ministry, by the name of Assemblé, for several years. She has experience in ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern, tap, lyrical, and is currently involved in Afro-Caribbean dance with Kuumba Dance Ensemble. In her years of training, she has found a desire to worship Jesus through the arts. Since becoming a dance instructor, and childcare provider elsewhere, she has grown in her passion to connect with her students, create a safe space for them, and help them feel loved and valued. One of Anna's favorite things about dancing is finding deeper emotional connections in the music and lyrics, and expressing them in her choreography.
