At the age of 4, Blythe set aspirations of being a professional ballerina. She received training from New Jersey Ballet School, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School, and a summer intensive program at School of American Ballet. From 8th grade through 11th grade, Blythe participated in Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre's (PBT) pre-professional program dancing more than 25 hours a week. While still a student, God blessed Blythe with opportunities to perform with Pittsburgh's professional company in various ballets including The Nutcracker, Ballet Imperial, Giselle, Aurora’s Wedding, and The Four Temperaments. At 16, Blythe was chosen by Patricia Wilde to dance a solo variation and the pas de deux from Raymonda for the Balanchine Archives filming. After finishing high school a year early and auditioning for PBT Company, she danced professionally in ballets such as Who Cares?, Romeo and Juliet, Jewels, and Symphony in C. To present day, Blythe has spent over 20 years teaching in various capacities with 9 of those years teaching at the prestigious Cary Ballet Conservatory in Cary, NC. She is invested in providing quality dancer training to guide students to use their talents, in excellence, for God's glory.
