Kelsey Dial is a Liberty University graduate with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Dance. She began her journey in the performing arts at the age of five, when she took ballet and tap. From that moment on, she was hooked. Her first musical production was in the sixth grade, which solidified her love for singing and acting as well as dancing. Kelsey is technically trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, musical theatre, and various social dance styles. Her most recent choreographic works include The Darkest Evening at Liberty University and her senior Honors Thesis at Liberty, a ministry piece entitled "It's Always Been You". Kelsey has studied voice privately and in choral and ensemble settings. Her acting training includes the theories of Stanislavsky, Meisner, Lugering, Adler, Chekhov, and Alexander. Some of her favorite theatrical roles include Polly Baker in Crazy For You, Phyllis Dale in 42nd Street, Janet Van de Graaf in The Drowsy Chaperone, and Chava in Fiddler on the Roof.
When not teaching, you can find Kelsey eating tacos, listening to Christmas music, hanging out with kids, or stargazing. Kelsey's dance and voice teachers played a huge role in her development when she was younger, and she is honored to be passing on her love of glorifying God through the arts to the next generation of artists!
